Good hosting, easy setup

I signed up for the Managed WordPress Hosting. Setup was quick. My site loaded faster right away. No issues with performance. Happy with the service so far.

My site feels zippy now

I finally decided to try BionicWP for my personal blog. I got the High Performance Hosting and man, my site feels so much faster. I was kinda worried about migrating everything, but their team handled the site migration for free, which was super nice. It was pretty smooth overall, no headaches or anything. Definitely a good move for my site.

Solid hosting, minor speed bump

I switched to BionicWP for their Unlimited WordPress Edits feature, which has been a lifesaver for my small business site. Edits get done quickly and professionally. The WordPress Speed Optimization also made a noticeable difference in load times. My only small gripe was the initial onboarding took a little longer than I expected, maybe an extra day to get everything fully configured. But once it was up, performance has been rock solid and the value for money is excellent.

Renewal price for my managed WordPress hosting was significantly higher this year, feeling a bit blindsided.

S Sneha22 4 weeks ago ✓ Best Answer
I got a renewal discount code in an email a few months before mine was due. Did you check your spam folder or old promos from them? Sometimes they send those out if you've been a customer for a while.

Good tip, I'll dig through my old emails. Thanks!

Mine increased too, but I was able to negotiate a bit. Mentioned I was considering other options like WP Engine. They matched a lower rate I found.

P PoojaR 4 weeks ago
Oh, that's smart! I might try that next time. Didn't think they'd be flexible.

A AmitM 4 weeks ago
Does BionicWP really compare to WP Engine though? Just curious.

C coolboy88 4 weeks ago
Yeah, sometimes you gotta play hardball a little. Loyalty rarely gets rewarded without asking.

R Rahul87 4 weeks ago
Oh man, same here! I thought I was on a good annual plan, but then the renewal notice hit and it was like a 30% jump. Did you contact support about it?
0
P PoojaR 4 weeks ago
Yeah, I did. They said my initial discount period ended. Kinda wish that was clearer when I signed up.

That's a common tactic across many hosting providers. Always check the fine print for those intro rates.

Trying to decide between their regular Managed WordPress Hosting and High Performance Hosting. Worth the extra for HP?

M ManojJain 4 weeks ago ✓ Best Answer
For me, the High Performance Hosting was worth it. Uptime guarantee and Google Cloud Platform hosting just felt more reliable.

K KiranRao 4 weeks ago
Did you notice a big speed difference?
5
M ManojJain 4 weeks ago
Definitely. Especially with traffic spikes.
8
K KiranRao 4 weeks ago
Good to know.
2
M MeenaPillai 4 weeks ago
I'd check if you can get a free trial for the high performance one first. See if you notice the difference.

K KiranRao 4 weeks ago
Oh, they offer trials?

M MeenaPillai 4 weeks ago
Sometimes. I got one for my first month.

S SoniaKapoor 4 weeks ago
Unless you have a super high traffic site, the regular managed hosting is probably fine. You still get dedicated support and weekly backups.
11
S SoniaKapoor 4 weeks ago
They do free migrations too, right?
8
R RajeshKumar 4 weeks ago
Yeah, I'm on the regular plan and it's been solid for my small business.

Thinking of switching to The WP Help, what's good there?

R RahulMehta 1 month ago ✓ Best Answer
Their Unlimited WordPress Edits are a lifesaver. Seriously, saves so much time.

A AnjaliSingh 1 month ago
Agree! That's why I went with them.
8
R RahulMehta 1 month ago
Yep, within reason. Small tasks, changes, content updates. Not building a whole new site.
7
V VikramKumar 1 month ago
Is it really unlimited though?

The speed optimization is real. My site flies now.

Yeah, it's included. Works great with their Nitro CSS Optimization.

What about their CDN? Is it the BionicWP CDN?
1
S SnehaPatel 1 month ago
Depends what you need. If you're an agency, the White Label Hosting Platform is pretty sweet.
5
S SnehaPatel 1 month ago
Yeah, keep an eye out for that. Good deal.

I heard they have a white label setup fee waiver sometimes.

Thinking of switching over to The WP Help for their white label hosting. Anyone using it for clients? How does the white labeling actually work?

R RahulK 1 week ago ✓ Best Answer
We've been using it for about 6 months now. The white labeling is pretty seamless. Your clients see your branding everywhere, from the control panel to the support tickets. It's a huge plus for agency credibility.
13
R RahulK 1 week ago
Everything is under your brand. They literally disappear in the background.
3
N NikhilS 1 week ago
Does that include the BionicWP CDN too? Or is that branded separately?
6
G gamerraj 1 week ago
I looked into it, but the initial setup fee for white labeling put me off. Did anyone get that waived or find a deal on it?
7
D deepu 1 week ago
Following this, also curious about that fee.
5
M maxwell 1 week ago
I heard they sometimes waive it for larger agency plans, or if you catch a Black Friday deal. Not sure if that's still the case.
8
A AmitM 1 week ago
We use their unlimited WordPress edits feature for our clients, and it's been a lifesaver. Saves us so much time on small tasks. Does that also work under the white label? Meaning clients request edits directly through our brand?
2
R RahulK 1 week ago
Yes, all those services, including the edits, are white-labeled. Your clients submit requests, and it all appears to come from your agency.
4
N NikhilS 1 week ago
That's exactly what I'm looking for. Thanks!

Does BionicWP do free migrations? I've got a bunch of sites on SiteGround and moving them is always a headache.

A Alex 1 month ago
Yep, they handle free migrations. I had them move a pretty complex e-commerce site last month and it was super smooth, no downtime at all.

J June Q. 1 month ago
They do, I think it's part of setting up. Just ask their support after you sign up, they'll sort it out for you.

Thinking of switching from Kinsta, but unlimited edits sounds too good to be true. What's the catch with that 'unlimited edits' thing? Like, can I really just ask for anything?

L Laura 2 months ago
Nah, it's pretty legit. They cover all the basic stuff like CSS tweaks, content updates, plugin config, even some light dev work. Not like building a whole new site from scratch, but daily maintenance and small changes, totally.
2
D Daisy Vargas 2 months ago
Yeah, I use it all the time. Think of it as having a dev on call for small tasks. It's awesome for agency work, saves a ton of time on client requests that aren't huge projects.

Is this actually better than WP Engine for agency clients? My sites need to be super fast and stable, but I'm looking to cut costs a bit.

T Tara 1 month ago
For agency work, I'd say yes. The white-labeling and unlimited edits are huge for client management. Performance-wise, it's definitely on par, sometimes even better with their optimization stuff. Plus, the agency dashboard is a lifesaver.

I moved some clients over from WP Engine. Haven't looked back. Speed is great, and the support is really responsive. You get more bang for your buck imo.

Anyone know if there's a Black Friday deal coming up? Or maybe a free trial I can grab now? Don't want to pay full price if a sale is around the corner.

C Cody L. 2 months ago
They usually have a pretty good Black Friday sale, I grabbed a discount last year. But for now, you can almost always find a 'try before you buy' kind of offer, or like a free first month. Check their site, they tend to promote those.
4
C Chris 2 months ago
Yeah, definitely look for the free trial. It's how I tested them out before committing. As for Black Friday, it's a bit early to know for sure but they've done it before.
